Deirdre Murty, APRN is a board certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. She earned her RN-MSN degree at Yale University with internships at the Yale Child Study Center and West Haven Mental Health Clinic. Following her training, she developed and began the Children’s Psychiatric Day Hospital Program at The Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven. Deirdre consults to the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County and has provided psychiatric services to the Norwalk Public High Schools. Her areas of specialization include very young children, developmental disorders, family issues and parent training.
