Jonathan Lieberman, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience in clinical practice. Jonathan has completed extensive training related to adolescent development, psychopharmacology, autism spectrum disorders, and relational approaches to trauma. His areas of interest include ADHD, anxiety, depression, and loss. For several years he worked with Dr. Andrew Lustbader at the Child Guidance of Mid-Fairfield as a clinician, and later as interim director of their Intensive Outpatient Program.
Jonathan operates from the perspective of a therapeutic relationship that is client-driven and strength-based. Drawing from a series of modalities and techniques, he has found a highly effective ability to identify distress at its origin and work collaboratively towards its resolution. He is currently the director of AxisMind, LLC, an organization based on meditation instruction designed to compliment psychological and medical treatments primarily related to stress, anxiety, hyper-tension, and cancer.
